There will be NO bags allowed on the course. Skyway 10K will have a complimentary bag check at Tropicana Field. One bag per person can be checked in the morning of the race.
Please be aware that every bag is subject to inspection before it’s checked. It is advised to leave belongings at home/in cars, if possible.
PLEASE NOTE: If you leave your belongings in your car, the Skyway 10K and Tropicana Field take no responsibility regarding their safety.
Participants will not be allowed on the shuttle if they try to bring a bag.
Participants should consider the time it takes to park, check a bag, and get on the bus on time.

The Skyway 10K is proud to be completely cup-less. This means there will be no paper water cups available between the start and the finish line. This helps keep the Tampa Bay beautiful by reducing waste, while also ensuring that all participants and volunteers are safe.
Participants WILL have access to water in the start area and in self-serve refill stations throughout the course. At the finish line, Skyway 10K will then provide each athlete with a bottle of water.
Participants will be allowed to bring water bottles up to 24 ounces, but they must be clear containers. All participants are responsible for carrying their own bottles from start to finish, as there will be no trash cans on the bridge. Handheld containers can include a bike bottle, a handheld running bottle, or any type of non-glass water bottle.
If participants do not have a water bottle on them during the race, they may still safely drink water from the cup-less water station which works similarly to a water fountain (seen in the image to the left).

Join us on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Race Expo. The Race Expo will be held at Lot 7 in the parking lot of Tropicana Field in beautiful Downtown St. Petersburg and is open to the public.
There will be live music, vendors, and a day filled with fun – you won’t want to miss it! Bring your family and friends to this community-wide event to celebrate the Skyway 10K and support military families.
IMPORTANT PACKET PICK-UP INFORMATION
All registered racers will be able to pick up their Race Day packets in Lot 7 in the parking lot of Tropicana Field from 10 AM to 6 PM EST on February 29, 2020, during the Race Expo. This is the only day that packets can be picked up.
All registered racers, both VIP and regular, MUST bring their photo I.D. AND bib number in order to receive their packet and bib. Race participants MUST have their bib number PRIOR to picking up their packet. Participants can look up bib numbers closer to race weekend.
PLEASE NOTE: Every participant is responsible for ensuring that their packet is picked up.
ABSOLUTELY NO PACKETS CAN BE PICKED UP ON RACE DAY, MARCH 1, 2020.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY PICK-UP FORM
We understand there could be many situations preventing a participant from picking up their own registration packet; however, PLEASE NOTE NO packets will be permitted for release without a signed Friends and Family Pick-Up Form. If a Friends and Family Pick-Up Form is NOT provided, there will be NO exceptions made to release packets to friends, family members, or spouses.
- It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure that the Participant Waiver is filled out correctly, and to provide a clear photocopy of their photo I.D. and bib number.
- Packet Pick-Up is located in Lot 7 in the parking lot of Tropicana Field on February 29, 2020 from 10 AM to 6 PM EST.
- All registration packets MUST be picked up then, without exception.

PARKING AND ROAD CLOSURES
Tropicana Field is providing parking for race day weekend completely FREE of cost! Parking is available for all race participants and spectators on a first come, first serve basis – it will fill up fast!
Here are a few tips:
- Participants may need to park around Tropicana Field on the streets, so consider street parking costs (if any)
- Allow plenty of time to walk to Tropicana Field so as not to miss bus departure waves
- All participants are responsible for making sure they arrive on time, ready to get on their respective bus.
- This includes accounting for any traffic, parking time, and walking time. Plan accordingly!
The Skyway 10K is point-to-point from Manatee County to Pinellas County running northbound over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The only way to get to the starting line will be by official buses. Buses will begin loading at Tropicana Field in Downtown St. Petersburg. Runners will be bussed to the starting point in Terra Ceia in Manatee County. Once over the bridge, buses will be waiting at the finish line to take runners back to Tropicana Field.
PLEASE NOTE: The northbound lanes over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge are scheduled to close at 3:30 AM on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Please make travel plans to Tropicana Field accordingly.
This year, we will have an app (Android/iPhone) that will have live parking updates to make Race Day easier!
SAFETY AND SECURITY
In collaboration with the Armed Forces Families Foundation, Florida Highway Patrol, the City of St. Petersburg, and Florida Fish and Wildlife will be providing safety and security throughout the entirety of the weekend. This includes expo security, bag check, and immediate response ready at any point during the race.
